Prayer for Pastor Lee and His Wife

As you probably know by now, Pastor Lee and his wife have been battling various health issues over the last few months. Due to the nature of their condition, it has been difficult to determine the status of their health at any given time. There have been good days and bad days, but the toll of recurring problems has certainly weighs on the family. Currently, they seem to be doing well and are not in the hospital, but we know how important it is to cover them in prayer!

As we continue to work to address the various health issues they are dealing with, we ask you to join us in prayer for the wellbeing of Pastor Lee, his wife, and the rest of their family and staff. Ask that God would heal, restore, and protect everyone living and working at Jusarang and all the children who continue to be dropped off. Pray that God would keep them in good health and grant wisdom to the doctors and nurses to provide the right treatments and diagnosis.

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” - 3 John 1:2

National Day of Prayer

One of the most important things we do as an organization is pray. While attempting to address the issues of abortion, infanticide, and abandonment in unsafe places, one of the things we’ve realized is that more than anything these are heart issues.

We can—and will continue to—offer all the physical support in our power to ensure that every human life is protected, but at the end of the day lasting change will not occur without God stepping in.

So today, on the 64th annual National Day of Prayer, join us as we lift up our requests to God and ask to see a culture of life built around the world.

Pray that all human life would be seen as valuable, unique, and worthy of protection. Ask that God would bring up a generation of people here in the Untied States and around the world that would go to great lengths to care for mothers and children in crisis.  And pray that we would see a day when the lives of children, born and unborn, are no longer threatened.

“Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day.” 1 Kings 8:28

Prayer for Pastor Lee and His Wife

Over the past couple weeks, Pastor Lee and his wife have been dealing with some recurring health issues. They are both in stable condition, but are in need of prayer for their condition to improve.

It's easy to think of Pastor Lee as the only one on the front lines, but his wife has also been there all along, giving up her life so that others could live. This has definitely taken a toll on her health. She has been dealing with a few gastrointestinal problems, which have caused her diabetes to flare up and her overall health has declined. Please pray that God would grant the doctors and nurses wisdom on how to treat the issue, as it has persisted for more than a year. Ask that He would provide her with comfort and peace throughout her treatments and ultimately that she would be healed.

In the wake of his trip to the United States and the release of The Drop Box, Pastor Lee has been experiencing fits of fainting. He has since been hospitalized and is receiving treatment. Join us as we pray for his recovery.  Ask that God would restore Pastor Lee’s health and calm his spirit.

Finally, Pray that there will be no future health issues and ask that Kindred Image would continue to be able to provide Pastor Lee and his wife with all the support they need to continue their life-saving work.

"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." Romans 12:1

Prayer for The Drop Box

A week from today, The Drop Box documentary film will be released in over 800 theaters across the United States and Canada for three nights only. We ask that you'd join us in praying for those theaters to be full. But why? How can seeing a movie in the U.S. impact Kindred’s mission to end child abandonment and create a culture of life in South Korea?

We believe that issues like abandonment are heart issues. They cannot be solved merely by policy change, physical aid, or education. While all of these are important, what must occur in order to see real change is a spiritual transformation. Knowing that God is the only one who is capable of such a thing, we made a film. Yes, the film does highlight a social issue, but more than that it shows a glimpse of God’s fatherly love—a love that we believe, when experienced, will bring about the type of transformation that can put an end to abandonment.

We hope you see this film. We hope you bring your friends. But, most of all, we ask that you pray for God to transform the hearts of people all around the world through the film.  Pray that God would reveal the value and purpose in every human life. Pray that he would raise the support needed to continue the work of saving lives and ministering to mothers. And pray that He would use this film to bring an end to abandonment once and for all.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” – John 6:63
