For almost all of the children saved through the baby box, Pastor Lee’s small home is not the last stop. Once a child is taken in and rescued, there are several stops to different hospitals and childcare facilities that a he or she must make before finding “a home.”
The final stop, is at a welfare center, where conditions are a lot like that of Pastor Lee’s home—cramped, crowded, and in need of resources.
While Kindred continues to pray about how to best provide assistance, we ask that you join us in lifting all this up. Please pray for these children. Ask that God would surround them with His love and raise them to know that He is their ultimate Father.
Pray that these children would be provided for financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Ask that people would be called to donate, volunteer, and help in any way they can to ensure that these children are cared for in the best way possible.
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” Matthew 25: 40 (NIV)
