As of July 1st, 504 babies have been dropped off in the baby box. As that number continues to climb, the job of Pastor Lee, his wife, and the group of missionaries who volunteer at Jusarang will become increasingly difficult.
With many of the staff members fighting illness—Pastor Lee’s wife recently struggling with shingles—it will be imperative to cover everyone involved in the ministry in prayer both for health and healing, as well as protection from burnout.
This week, thank God for the ways in which he has sustained Pastor Lee and his staff. Thank Him for being their strength, their joy, and their source for rest.
Pray for continued protection against exhaustion and ask that God would reinvigorate their passion for the work they are doing every day. Ask that He would give them endurance and perseverance, and that ultimately He would be the reason they do what they do.
“Oh Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.” Isaiah 33:2
